Be sure to talk to us in good time
Accidents can happen. Unfortunately, unforeseen circumstances, such as an accident at work or being made redundant, can adversely affect your monthly budget. If you notice that it’s getting difficult to repay your loan, contact your branch as soon as possible. Together with your specialist, you can have a detailed look at your financial situation and open it up for discussion.

The solutions available for a mortgage loan might be different to those for an instalment loan. For instance, you can opt to refinance a home loan, whereas you can't do that with a car loan.
Payment arrangement
If you are 30 days in arrears with your repayments, we will contact you and ask you to come to your branch to discuss the situation. During that meeting, we will examine your financial situation carefully once again. If your problems are temporary, you and your expert might be able to work out a payment arrangement, so that you can hopefully get your loan back on track.
Termination of the loan
If it’s not possible to work out a new loan arrangement or you still can’t repay your loan, we will be forced to terminate it. In that case, we will take legal action to collect the full amount owed, such as, for example, an attachment of your wages.
