Changed security strategy
Security is and remains one of our priorities. And so we've now also optimised our security strategy for the KBC Brussels Business Dashboard. One consequence of this is that, from 1 July 2017, we're no longer offering the IBM Trusteer Rapport security software. Please therefore uninstall the IBM Trusteer Rapport software from your computer.
We still advise you to install robust antivirus software on your computer.
Caution!
If you use Isabel or other banks' apps that need you to have IBM Trusteer Rapport installed, you should retain the software.
What happens if you don't uninstall IBM Trusteer Rapport
- As a client of KBC Brussels, you will no longer receive security updates for the software.
- Your computer will continue to send certain technical security details to IBM.
- The IBM Trusteer Rapport icon will still be shown in your browser's address bar and will turn grey after 1 July 2017.
- When you installed IBM Trusteer Rapport, you agreed in the user agreement with IBM that you would remove the software if KBC Brussels terminated its licence.
How to uninstall the software
Caution! To uninstall the software, you must be logged into your computer as administrator.
