Help your child switch to KBC Brussels Mobile thanks to Family Link
After many years, the K'Ching app for young people will close down on 30 June 2024. Children and young people can now do their banking on the go with KBC Brussels Mobile, which is free of charge and fully tailored to their needs!
What is Family Link?
- You keep a link between you and your child’s KBC Mobile apps.
- Family Link lets your child get up and running in no time without requiring a card reader or a form of ID. You use your KBC Mobile app to generate a QR code for your child to scan.
- You maintain a clear overview – you can check your child’s balance and payments and set how much they can transfer per day.
How does Family Link work and where can you find it?
- Log in to KBC Brussels Mobile and tap the cogwheel at the top left of your screen.
- Select ‘Personal details’ and then the name of the child who will start using KBC Brussels Mobile.
- Ask your child to scan the QR code so they can download KBC Brussels Mobile and start using it.
- Your child can go ahead and delete the K'Ching app. But before they do, make sure that all public transport tickets have been used up.
