Floating: reorganisation of our range of funds

Why we sometimes merge investment funds

By reorganising its investment fund offering, KBC AM can, as manager, offer better investment opportunities to unit holders because a larger amount of capital is brought together within a sub-fund. This ensures more rational and efficient management of the sub-fund’s assets, lower administrative charges and a more structured portfolio.

Why we sometimes liquidate investment funds

There are a number of reasons to choose for a liquidation. Often, it concerns funds which have become too small, causing the fixed costs to have a too severe effect on the fund’s return. A liquidation can then be a solution. Due to the liquidation, the fund will cease to exist and the investors will be reimbursed.
