Need a helping hand? KBC Brussels is at your service!
If you represent a non-profit organisation with a clear social objective and you need help with a specific activity? Or do you know such a non-profit organisation that could use our help? Let us know and we might just be able to help out!
At KBC Brussels, we do everything we can to help our customers protect and achieve their dreams. In addition to providing products and services, we do this by playing an active role in society. One way we do this is through our activities as ‘Team Blue’, through which we get involved in projects that allow us to make a difference.
From September 2024 up to and including March 2025, our employees will be rolling up their sleeves to help as many social non-profit organisations (e.g. youth movements and health care institutions) as possible with specific activities.
Is it time to give your youth club a makeover? Perhaps the local retirement home is still looking for entertainment, or a non-profit organisation that assists people with disabilities is organising an event and needs a helping hand on the day. Any activity with a social objective is eligible.
If you’re planning an activity where we could help, be sure to fill in the application form.
Learn more
- In order for Team Blue to help with a specific activity, the project must have a clear social objective, make a difference and deliver tangible results
- Activities must be non-profit in nature
- The project may be run by your own non-profit organisation or it may be a non-profit activity you are associated with
- The application must involve a group activity so that several Team Blue colleagues can work together as a team
You can, but you will have to fill in the form for each activity separately. The selection process aims to fulfil as many projects as possible from different people while maintaining a range of different activities and geographical locations.
Applications submitted through this website and form must relate to activities taking place in Belgium. Each KBC Brussels core country organises their own similar local campaigns to help with projects.
The organiser of the activity should provide any materials and equipment necessary, so be sure to make clear arrangements with the person in charge to avoid any misunderstandings.
A KBC Brussels task force reviews all applications and assesses them according to the criteria required. In addition, it seeks to approve a variety of activity types, locations, times, and other characteristics.
The projects that meet these criteria are then offered to KBC Brussels employees, though this does not guarantee that there will be (enough) participants to help out with the project.
If you want to cancel your application because the project has been cancelled or the date or location has changed, please send an e-mail to teambluedreams@kbc.com so that we can promptly inform any colleagues who have signed up.
If a project takes place at different locations and/or on different dates, please submit an application for each location and date. This is because the activities for which KBC Brussels employees can sign up are presented on the basis of time and location, which means that these details are a deciding factors in determining availability.
We make every effort to find volunteers for your activity. However, we cannot guarantee that we will find the number of volunteers requested for every activity. The organiser will receive an e-mail no later than 10 days before the day of activity, informing them whether we were able to find the number of volunteers requested. We will also provide them with the list of participants.
Unfortunately, that’s not possible, so don't start your application until you have all the necessary details.
Your personal data and the personal data of the coordinator you specify will only be used to verify that the dream you submitted meets the participation conditions and for the practical organization and follow-up of the dream / action you submitted.
Your data will be kept for the period necessary for the realization of your dream.
More information about the processing of personal data by KBC Brussels can be found at www.kbc.be/privacy.
You should first check our FAQs, and if you still can't find the answer to your question, feel free to send an e-mail to teambluedreams@kbc.com.
